Below is the NOR for this Saturday’s Snowball Regatta at BLYC. Please review. In addition to the “usual” sailing information found in the NOR, we have also included the distancing and safety guidelines that we will be using in order to safely operate this event this year. A couple of highlights for you…
• We are asking everyone to pre-register online to limit the interaction necessary at registration on Saturday morning. The link is available on the BLYC website or by clicking HERE. You will still need to pay your registration fee on Saturday morning, but this should help minimize contact.
• We will have a socially-distanced competitors meeting on the patio at 10:30 am. Masks will be required. In order to limit contact, please send the minimum number from crew as necessary. If you wish to not attend the competitors meeting, please let me know and we will make arrangements to communicate any necessary information to you.
• There will be no formal awards ceremony, although we will announce the results after racing. Award flags will be mailed at a later date.
• In order to maintain distancing for the race committee, we will be starting the races from the race shack instead of on the water.
