2014 Nationals @ PYC Day 2 Report

pyc sunsetWell this will be short sailing report.  Below are the scores.  After 5 races completed our leader is Stu Fisher.  Close behind is Steve Aspery and in a three way tie for third we have Lee Sackett, Peter Frissell and Scott Savage.  I will tell you that today the wind was light, variable and shifty.  On the race course it paid to go right most of the time.

Off shore the biggest thing to report is Ben Terrien killed the “FISH”.  Most of Interlake Nation knows Tim Cullenen’s fish which typically comes out at big events.  Many thought Ben would take the customary virgin sip, but with seconds Ben had downed and drained the fish which was 2/3 full.  Team R has elevated Ben to demi-god status.  Ben I doubt you are reading this tonight, but well done.  I would also like to point out that Ben and his wife, Liz, sailed very well in the first race today and finished 5th.

Day 1 report which now includes a link to pictures.

A special thanks to Steve Schewe the photographer for sharing his pictures and time out on the race course.
